HORA.
HORA, started with a simple idea – use light and sound to help manage time naturally. HORA is an integrated physical + digital concept project that explores simple ways to help manage the rhythm of your home.
LIGHTING ANIMATIONS.
I helped create the physical lighting effects on the HORA. The lighting animations were designed for a variety of events. Morning Alarm, Timer, Nightlight, Notifcations, etc. Below is a short video showing a few the final lighting animations created.
HOW IT WAS DONE.
The lighting on the HORA prototype is controlled via an Arduino Uno and simply runs a Neopixel WS2812B LED matrix. The physical prototype was created in a way to accept the led matrix easily and 3D printed in a white nylon that helped defuse the LEDs evenly.
